My son’s name is Legend and he is 9. His birthday is May 13. He has a microdeletion on chromosome 2q32.2 and 2q31.2. I have a lot to share with a parent and would love to hear about other children with this and other deletions. Genetic testing was conducted in 2011. I arrived at the doctors office several weeks after the test was conducted and I was seated, given a leaflet and pretty much told “Good Luck”. It was devastating to say the least; however I knew that I had to move forward for my son. This BLOG was created for parents to share information for empowerment purposes. Knowledge is power!!! There is hope and together we can conquer this obstacle!!!!!
My foster daughter is now 11mo and was recently diagnosed with 2q31.2-32.1 deletion.
